The workbench panel consists of seven tabs:
  1. Settings
  2. Species
  3. Parameters
  4. Parameter Sets
  5. Data Browser
  6. Sensitivity
  7. Fit
The first tab Settings provides the general settings for parameter identification of model data. One can choose between two different Gauss-Newton algorithms in a drop-down menue:
  1. NLSCON
  2. PARKIN

The next setting options are Time Settings, Plot Settings and Expert Setting.
  1. Time Settings: the start and end time for the simulation run
  2. Plot Settings: the time unit (e.g. sec, min,...)
  3. Expert Settings: settings concerning the parameter estimation, which are
    1. relative, absolute and required tolerance
    2. the maximal number of iterations during the Gauss-Newton
    3. the parameter constraints
    4. the problem type
    5. the residual scaling

The Simulate-button at the bottom starts a simulation plotted in a new output window.
